About Flight Center

Flight Center is a private educational institute founded in 1986 by its actual owner and director, Leopoldo Espinosa. For more than 26 years, the school has trained and rated more than 5,000 professional pilots from Argentina and all of South America.
Through the years, there has been a clear and constant effort to adapt to new technology while offering continual development for our soon-to-be professional pilots.  With the combination of these qualities, along with our fine tuned training curriculum, Flight Center Aviation Academy has positioned itself as a well recognized instruction center in Latin America and the United States.

Flight Center traces its beginnings back to the DON TORCUATO MUNICIPAL AIRPORT, followed by the opening of its second location in the SAN FERNANDO EXECUTIVE AIRPORT.  There, it began to take on grander dimensions as a formative Institute with a fleet of more than 15 aircrafts available for pilot instruction. To accommodate this increased volume of operations, in 2008, the center relocated to a larger, more comfortable facility in the MORON MUNICIPAL AIRPORT.

Currently, this is where the base operations, flight instruction activities, and fleet maintenance are provided. The school has it's very own maintenance shop and technical personnel who are certified by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). They perform the maintenance of the entire fleet, taking into account the highest levels of safety, effectiveness, and efficiency.

Along with the objective of providing excellent flight training, we strive to instill four main qualities in each of our students that are essential characteristics for a well-rounded professional pilot:

  • The development of critical thinking and spatial awareness.
  • The ability to work as a team.
  • The capability to make on the spot decisions.
  • Situational awareness and analysis of the working environment.

In the year 2012, after conducting thorough market research, Flight Center inaugurated its new FLIGHT CENTER U.S. branch, located in the Ft. Lauderdale Executive Airport in the United States.
This instruction center allows our students to receive American licenses and ratings authorized by the FAA. These licenses include Private Pilot Single-Engine, Commercial Pilot Single-Engine, Instrument Rating, etc.  All of these ratings are valid and recognized internationally. FLIGHT CENTER U.S. is proud to provide these services with a guaranteed level of professionalism and excellence to its graduates.
